One human family.
Who we are
St. Mychal’s is an inclusive Old Catholic community committed to following Jesus through compassion, sacramental life, and service. We come from different faith backgrounds and life experiences; some of us are still discovering what we believe.
What Catholic means to us
Catholic means universal. We are rooted in Catholic worship and the example of Jesus while remaining open to questions, science, conscience, and what we learn from one another. Questions can deepen faith.
Faith is something we live
Jesus shared meals with people others rejected, comforted those who suffered, and called his followers to love their neighbors. We seek to make that love visible through welcome, reconciliation, and service.
A church without walls
Ministry may happen at an altar, a kitchen table, a hospital bed, a graveside, or during a conversation with someone who needs to be heard. We seek to meet people where they are.
Radical hospitality
We welcome people without prejudice regarding race, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital history, disability, income, religious affiliation, or spiritual background. If religion has wounded you, we will begin by listening.
Compassion and service
We make mistakes and need grace. We strive to forgive, learn, feed, comfort, accompany, and advocate. Our service to the human family is inseparable from our life at the altar. Explore Our Ministries.
Wherever you begin, we will meet you there.
